Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society
The Surrey Fire Fighters Association has had a proud tradition of serving the community we work and live in since 1957. With the support from the City of Surrey and the Surrey Fire Service, the Association administers the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society, working to fulfill needs that are not met in our community, with special focus on Surrey’s children, youth and families.
The Charitable Society has been changing lives in Surrey since it was founded in 1994. We can proudly say that all of the money donated goes directly to helping Surrey’s citizens. Our commitment to our community permeates all aspects of our work and is an integral part of the culture in which we work.
At SuperKids, we are more than just a summer camp; we are a community of support, friendship, and growth. It is our mission to bring children together from different backgrounds and create an environment that celebrates our unique experiences, cultures, and identities. By fostering unity and understanding through sport, we hope to build bridges and lasting connections within our community. We are proud to hold our camps free of charge for newly landed immigrant and refugee children, children of low-income families, as well as Indigenous children to promote involvement from all children of our community.
We are committed to providing a nurturing environment in which every child can flourish, regardless of their heritage or financial background. At Softball City, we firmly believe that sports have the incredible ability to bring people together, bridge gaps, and promote better understanding amongst diverse communities. We hope to break down barriers and create opportunities for all deserving, young individuals.
Our aim is to ensure that every child who desires to be part of our camp can fully enjoy the experience of summer camp. At Softball City, we believe that by working together, we can create a brighter and more inclusive future for all children in the sport of fastpitch.
